We just had a great lunch with Jon!
I’m so glad I finally got to meet him (and that none of the bad things you people have told me about him were actually true).
“So, how do you guys know each other?”
Steve and I looked at each other across the table.
“You explain it.”
“No way. I’m not explaining it. You explain it.”
“Explain Twitter and Favrd and Tumblr? To a ‘civilian?’ Nu-uh. I’m not even going to try.”
Finally, I just said, “We met in ‘Nam” and that was enough explanation for the day.
OK, the ‘Nam part isn’t true at all, but it was a delightful lunch.
